Where can I buy your cases?

Our cases can be ordered exclusively on amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, amazon.fr and amazon.com.

Which cases are available for the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus?

We continue to offer the well-known model „Miami ” and as well our top sellers the “Dallas” and “Tokyo”.

When will the cases become available?

All models are already in stock and available.

Fits the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus the currently available cases?

As the dimensions of the new iPhone 6S / 6S Plus changed only minimally (0.2mm “thicker” / 0.2mm higher / 0.1mm wide), all our currently available cases “Dallas”, “Miami”, “Tokyo ” will fit the iPhone 6S or 6S Plus.

Which cases will be available?

For the iPad Air 2 our 3 well-established models “Berlin”, “London” and “Hamburg” remain available. For the iPad mini 3 we continue to offer both models „Berlin” and „London“.

When will your new cases be available?

The iPad Air 2 „Berlin“ case is now available for pre-order and expect to be on stock at mid November.

The Model “London” for the iPad Air 2 is available for pre-order at 2014-10-30 and expected to be available from at 2014-11-29. The Model “Hamburg” for the iPad Air 2 is available for pre-order at 2014-11-11 and due to capacity problems in production expected to be available at 2014-12-11.The iPad mini 3 cases already available.

Do the new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 cases also fit on my older iPad?

As the design of the iPad Air 2 has changed, our new cases will only fit on the iPad Air 2. The iPad mini 3 cases fits with all generations of iPad mini.

Why should I buy from you?

Our cases are flat-out gorgeous, and we don’t know of any other accessories that complement the beauty of your tablet device as well as KAVAJ cases do. All we make is cases. We are case specialists. Every day, we work to perfect the beautiful, highly functional case. And every day we make progress. And we’re thrilled to share that progress with you, our customers.

What material do you use?

Most of our cases are made from 100 percent genuine cow leather that’s soft and rich.

We have done detailed tests with the leather. Please find the results below, which state that we passed all tests:

Where are your cases made?

Our cases are all produced in Guangdong province in China, where, for example, also Apple let manufacture their products.

In order to get a fast overview about our diffrent models we have developed our case finder. You can compare our cases or the iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini at a glance and choose your favorit.

Where can I buy your cases and where do you deliver to?

The complete logistic process and shipping are entirely handled by Amazon. Unfortunately, at the moment Amazon Europe does not provide shipping to non-EU countries due to the specific customs regulations in each country.

Purchases made through amazon.de, amazon.co.uk and amazon.fr are shipped to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus.

An exception represents Amazon US. Since a short time orders you place through amazon.com can be shipped worldwide via Amazon Global Shipping. Every citizen outside the US can order on Amazon.com and use this worldwide shipping service offered by Amazon.

Can I see your cases at a store first?

No, we do not sell through bricks-and-mortar retailers to keep our costs down so that we can pass the savings along to you. Our cases are of such high quality that people wonder how can get the prices as low as we do. It’s because we’ve set up a simple business: make incredible products and sell them online through the top retailer on the planet. However, we offer a hassle-free 100-day return policy to all of our customers, so you can easily buy and try out your case.

Do you also offer cases for any other devices than the ones mentioned on your website?

No. We exclusively offer these cases that can be found on our website. As soon as a new product has been designed or launched, we upgrade our website and add it to the list.

Does the iPad 2 also fit into the cases designed for the iPad 3/4?

Yes. The iPad 2 is fully compatible with our cases for the new iPad 4 and the iPad 3.

What is the advantage of ordering an iPad 3/4 case when I am an iPad2 user?

Following customer requests, we have equipped all of our iPad 3/4 case models with a standard built-in velcro strip to secure your iPad inside the case. Moreover, all of our Berlin, London and Hamburg cases are now available in 2 colors (black and cognac brown). As an update to the iPad 2 cases, the new cases are now made from high-quality genuine cowhide leather.

After you bought

I am having trouble operating my case. Where can I find help?

Having trouble with the stand feature, closing the case or a stuck power button? All solutions, videos and manuals can be found in our FAQ section under “Manuals” (int. Link auf „Manuals“).

Why hasn’t my order arrived yet?

Shipping for all of our orders is fulfilled by Amazon and hence we do not have any influence on the logistics process.

Why was there no invoice included in my order?

Invoices are principally sent within 24-48h through our automatic invoicing in the form of a separate e-mail. If you have not received an invoice, or would like to change your billing address, please contact us at service@kavaj.com

I have ordered a cognac brown case, but received a black case. How come?

In addition to cling film all of our cases are wrapped in black silk paper and that is why occasionally cases get mixed up. Please remove all wrapping material to make sure what color you have received. If you have received the wrong color, please contact us at service@kavaj.com

I have placed the wrong order by mistake. What do I do?

Orders can be cancelled via your Amazon account for a period of 30 minutes after purchase. Should your case already have entered the Amazon shipping process, please send the delivered case in its original packaging back to Amazon. Free returns can be initiated within 30 days by clicking the “Your Orders” button in Your Account. For instructions on how to cancel an item, please consult the website of the Amazon Returns Center.

I would like to return my case and receive my money back. What do I have to do?

The returns process is handeled directly by Amazon, as our entire inventory is stored at Amazon. No extra costs for you will occur, because Amazon will provide a free return shipping label. For instructions on how to return an item, please consult the website of the Amazon Returns Center.

Once Amazon receives your case back, the total purchase amount will be refunded.

I would like to exchange the bag. What do I have to do?

Exchanges can be made by completing the following two steps. First, you return the old case directly to Amazon and will then receive a refund for the full purchase amount. Second, you order the desired new KAVAJ case.

Returns are processed directly via Amazon. No extra costs for you will occur, because Amazon will provide a free return shipping label. For instructions on how to return an item, please consult the website of the Amazon Returns Center.

My case has a flaw. What do I do?

Please contact us directly at service@kavaj.com, including your Amazon order number and a photo of the flaw. From Monday to Friday you can usually expect an answer within 24 hours. We promise to take your problem seriously and will try to solve it as soon as possible and as efficiently and hassle-free as we can. Our goal is to resolve your inquiry in a single contact.

What are the guarantee periods offered?

Principally we offer the statutory guarantee of 2 years on all of our cases. In addition, we offer extra services. In case your case does not meet your expectations, we offer free returns to all of our customers for the first 100 days after purchase in addition to the official 14-day warranty.

Within 30 days of purchase, you can return your case directly to Amazon, free of charge. Details on how this is done can be found here.

How do I make the stand feature work?

How do I fix a stuck On/off button (power button)?

Due to the material properties of leather, initially the case may be too tight a fit and prevent the power button from functioning properly. If you stretch the case around the power button firmly outward 3-4 times, the button should function correctly again. This is shown in the following video:

Why won’t the magnetic enclose not work correctly?

Due to the material properties of leather, initially the case might be too tight a fit and cause the cover not to close a full 100%.

This issue normally resolves itself after short use. The top cover fold will become smoother and more flexible with use, comparable to wearing in genuine leather shoes. You can also speed up this process manually by gently rolling and bending the fold. It is also important that your device is fully pushed into the case by applying enough pressure.

My case still has an unpleasant smell after unwrapping. Is this intended?

Our cases normally have the pleasant smell of genuine leather. Before packing and shipping our cases they are thoroughly cleaned, for example to remove all remnant glue. In some cases it may happen that the cases did not get enough time to air and were packed too fast. Usually after a short while the smell just evaporates by itself. If this does not happen with your case, please contact service@kavaj.com

Customer recommendations for the care of your case: With wich product can I protect and clean my case and what should I consider?

Our customers in the UK use successfully Dr. Wack 2510 A1 Leather Care. It`s an oil based on Jojoba oil. Our customers in the US use successfully Duragloss 221 White Creamy Leather Conditioner or Leather Conditioner – Bick 4 by Bickmore.

When cleaning, we at KAVAJ proceed as follows:

– put the oil on the case uniformly using a soft cloth. Use a little bit more oil for the folds
– polish the case using another soft cloth afterwards
– Use a soft cloth brush for cleaning the stichings at the end

Why has the wake-up feature on my case stopped working?

The iPad setting for the wake-up feature can be found under Settings/General –> iPad Cover Lock/Unlock. This should be switched on (side switch to blue), for your iPad to lock and unlock your iPad when you open and close the iPad cover.

How do you choose your products’ colors?

Black is professional, modern and classic.

But it’s our second color, cognac brown, that draws so much attention and conversation. It’s such a deep, stunning color, we don’t know any technology cases that look similar. Our customers tell us that people often approach them to ask about their cognac cases.

So, your cases are thin?

Not just thin, but extremely thin. Wildly thin. We try not to use any plastic parts like many other case makers, which is one reason why our cases are so incredibly thin. We’ve also engineered our leather to be extremely thin. Which means that when you put your tablet or smart phone into a KAVAJ case, the dimension, and especially the thickness, is nearly identical to the naked product without a case.

Are people buying your cases?

Not only are they buying our cases, but we quickly became the top-selling case in Germany and the United Kingdom, the first two countries we were available in. People love KAVAJ products for their construction quality, beauty and high functionality.
